This policy identifies how Autism Routemap uses and protects any information that you supply when using the website.

Autism Routemap Privacy Policy is based on the General Data Protection Regulation which outlines the responsibility for businesses that obtain, process and store personal and sensitive information.

Autism Routemap is committed to making sure that your privacy is protected when using this website. If you are asked to supply identifying information, it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Online forms are submitted via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) using High-grade Encryption (AES-256, 255 bit keys). Regular security checks are carried out in accordance with Autism Routemap’s responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998.

Autism Routemap collects information both via the website and via forms filled out by you. Under the Data Protection Act 1998, it is our legal duty to keep your information secure and to ensure that the data held by Autism Routemap is accurate, adequate, relevant and not excessive.

  • Personal data and medical information will be held for the duration of your treatment with Autism Routemap. After discharge, records will be retained for a period of 6 years following our last service delivery. AT this point, data will be destroyed.

Contact details including name (client and parents in the case of a minor), client’s date of birth, school details, GP details, Telephone number, relevant medical information, email address, physical address, telephone number and bank details are collected for the following purposes:

  • To better understand your needs and improve products and services.
  • To take payment for products or services purchased and to dispatch these products to your chosen location where relevant.
  • To arrange appointments for interventions.
  • To send reports and other clinical information where relevant.

You may not submit content or comments that are offensive, inappropriate, objectionable or that affect the website performance or other services provided by Autism Routemap. Autism Routemap has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to abusive, threatening or intimidating behaviours directed towards staff or service users.
